Nicholas Muench

Nicholas is a visiting assistant professor in Politics and Public Service at Holy Cross College. His research lies at the intersection of comparative political theory, especially Islamic political thought, and intellectual history. He is currently working on a book manuscript on the role that political crisis plays as a catalyst for innovation in the history of Islamic political thought. Other research interests include the politics of translation, the politics of belief, and conceptions of representation within political philosophy.
