Affiliation: Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Philosophy, Universidad Eclesiástica San Dámaso (Madrid, Spain)

David Torrijos-Castrillejo teaches philosophy at the Universidad San Dámaso in Madrid. He is also a member of the Pontifical Academy of St. Thomas Aquinas. His research interest is ancient, medieval, and Renaissance philosophy, including figures such as Albert the Great, Thomas Aquinas and Domingo Báñez.

Abstract: The purpose of this project is to edit the first manuscripts of the first Spanish Dominicans who officially responded to the ‘Concordia’ by Luis de Molina: they are a group of writings composed for the Inquisition from 1594 to 1597. The main work consists of identifying the sources of these manuscripts and writing a contextualizing introduction. In addition, a translation of some Domingo de Báñez’s texts, with the identification of their sources and a introduction is considered.
