Project Title: Religious Dimensions of Murdoch's Ethics

Dante J. Clementi holds a PhD in Philosophical Theology from the University of St Andrews. His research interests include 19-20th century philosophy (Kierkegaard, Simone Weil, Iris Murdoch), ethics, philosophy of literature, and philosophy of religion (broadly construed). As a research fellow in the Center for Philosophy of Religion at Notre Dame, Dante will be researching the religious dimensions of Murdoch's ethics, particularly the significance of her use of traditionally religious concepts (like prayer and grace).
