Congratulations to our Notre Dame PhD student Jordan Lavender, whose paper, "The Mark of the Mental in the Fourteenth Century: Volitio, Cognitio and Adam Wodeham’s Experience Argument," won the 2021 Graduate Essay Prize by the British Society for the History of Philosophy.
Jordan has also been awarded a three-year postdoctoral fellowship by the Department of Philosophy at Purdue University.
