The Medieval Institute working group "Ancient and Medieval Theories of the Image” will meet virtually next week, Friday, March 26, from 9:15-10:30 am. Dr. Wiebke Marie Stock will be presenting on "Dionysius the Areopagite on the Image.”
The key passages that will be examined in the presentation are: Celestial Hierarchy 2: 136D-145C (trans. p. 147-153); Ecclesiastical Hierarchy 2: 397A-400D (trans. p. 204-5), 4: 472C-480D (p. 224-229).
