History of Philosophy Workshop: Jordan Lavender, "A New Interpretation of Ockham's Theory of Intentionality"

-

Location: Online

Ockham

The History of Philosophy Workshop is a continuation of last year's lunchtime workshops in medieval philosophy, but this year we've broadened our focus from medieval philosophy to general history of philosophy. Each meeting will consist of a presentation by a graduate student or faculty on a project that they are working on in the history of philosophy, followed by a period of comments/questions from the other participants. The workshop is designed to give grad students and faculty the opportunity to develop ideas and receive helpful feedback on projects/papers in a friendly and low stakes environment.

Our full presentation schedule for this semester is as follows:

Feb 19: Jordan Lavender, "A New Interpretation of Ockham's Theory of Intentionality."
April 23: Gonzalo Gamarra Jordan, topic TBA

We hope you can join us! For abstract and Zoom information, please contact Dylan MacFarlane (dmacfarl@nd.edu).
